Welcome to Tristar Academy. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tristar Middle East.
By accessing or using Tristar Academy ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Tristar Academy is an AI-powered learning management system (LMS) designed for corporate workforce development. The Platform provides course management, AI-driven competency gap analysis, personalised learning paths, assessment tools, certification tracking, and reporting capabilities. Features vary by subscription plan.
To use the Platform, your organisation must register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must:

The Platform, including its design, code, AI models, branding, and documentation, is owned by Tristar Middle East and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose during your subscription period. Content you upload (training materials, assessments) remains your intellectual property. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the service.
Tristar Academy offers multiple subscription tiers:
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including GDPR and UAE data protection regulations. For enterprise customers, we offer data processing agreements (DPAs) and data residency options within the MENA region. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
The Platform uses artificial intelligence for competency analysis, learning path generation, and content recommendations. AI-generated insights are advisory in nature and should be reviewed by qualified personnel before making employment or training decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, and organisations remain responsible for validating AI outputs against their specific requirements and standards.
We strive to maintain 99.9% Platform availability. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. Support is provided based on your subscription tier. Critical issues (Platform outages) are addressed with priority regardless of plan. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (internet outages, third-party service failures, force majeure events).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tristar Middle East shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, or otherwise).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tristar Middle East, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Either party may terminate the subscription in accordance with the applicable plan terms. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases. We will retain your data for 90 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through the courts of Dubai, UAE. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you may terminate your subscription.
